Brenna Catalano Rhoades is the owner and artist behind BC Design Studio. She discovered her love of creating at an early age and while growing up her parents encouraged her creativity.

Throughout the years she was known to draw and paint cards and gifts for her family and friends. So it was no surprise that when she was invited to a friend’s baby shower she decided to paint a personalized piece of art as a gift. The positive feedback she received led to the creation of her line of Wall Art Prints and Birth Records. Her artwork now brings smiles to children around the world.

After creating the invitations and stationery for her wedding, she began designing for friends and family. Word of mouth spread and it soon became a main focus of her business. She loves to incorporate her artwork into her invitation collections through hand painted motifs and icons. She feels fortunate to have worked with couples across the country (and beyond) to make their wedding stationery visions a reality.

Brenna lives in the Monterey Bay, California area with her husband Jonathan. She is a founding member of Monterey Bay Wedding & Event Professionals and currently serves on their board of directors.

Prior to devoting herself full-time to her business she worked for a licensing agency where she created brand concepts for artists and celebrities. She is currently licensing her artwork to manufacturers for use on stationery and gift products.
